French photographer Françoise Gaujour imagined a poetic picture series titled The American Myth. She was inspired by the two artistic genius Edward Hopper, for painting and David Lynch for cinema. Their artworks are enhances by the games of lights and shadows. François Gaujour chose to photograph American places mostly enlightened with neon lights at night time. The result offres pictures that let us dreaming, close to paintings and that also could be caught on movie scenes.
