Kaseifu Mudazono makes really offbeat and fun bento boxes! This art of staging food, also known as kyaraben, presents fun and super kawaii dishes assembled in elaborate styles and compositions.
The artist doesn’t just make pretty bento boxes, but also adds popular anime characters! You’ll recognize characters like Demon Slayer, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Jujutsu Kaisen, the Pokémon and many more!
“I started making bento boxes for my child who was in kindergarten at the time. I felt happy that my child liked the food I was making, and when I put it online on my social networks, I was overwhelmed by the reaction of my followers, and before I knew it, kyaraben became one of my hobbies. I made kyarabens for my four children and my husband, but I look forward to the day when I start making kyarabens for my two grandchildren too!” says Kaseifu in an interview for Bored Panda.
