With this series called « Infrascapes », Paolo Pettigiani is offering a singular and marvelous look on various cities he visited. The graphic designer and photographer from Torrino, Italy, shot these images of Dubai last summer, during a stop-by of 3 days in Dubai. « This series is a graphic and visual exploration of the city. For this project, I used infrared digital photography. This technique enables the full sensitivity of the camera’s sensor, making it sensitive to UV, invisible wevelength. These pictures of Dubai are the first real infrared images with a mean of artistic expression ».

« What I like with kind of photography, is to make visible something invisible. My aim is to show something recognizable under a new and unexpected personal point of view ».
