After his “Colorful Danxia” project, photographer Jonas Daley continues to immortalize Chinese reliefs, and this time focuses on Yangguang Pass, located in the village of Nanhu, about 70 kilometers from the city of Dunhuang, in the Dansu province. In this new series of landscapes, the artist highlights and colors the reliefs that stand out from the sky, in this western pass that used to be a frontier defense post during Emperor Wu’s reign, of the Han Dynasty.
