Austrian photographer David Schermann has created a unique and poetic project about one of the largest financial centers in Asia.

“Hong Kong in pastel” is a photo series with soft colors contrasting with the idea that most people have of this Chinese city – noisy and hectic. The artist then focuses on a palette of féncǎi (粉彩, Mandarin for pastel) colors, giving the city a new face, a serene and relaxed atmosphere.
