Based in Mississauga, Canada, the visual artist deconstructs reality by giving it spectacular and abnormal aspects. In his recent series entitled «Antistructure» Alex Lysakowski offers us to discover several industrial buildings, trucks and monuments which have became implausible thanks to photo manipulation’s magic. «I create images with surreal and uncanny structural interaction within banal surrounding landscapes, eluding to a transitional space between reality and fiction while still retaining realism within the atmosphere of the image», he says.

Clouding the issues and designing artworks that fluctuate between imaginary and tangible is what inspires him to create daily. «My process is a mixture of fascination with the boundary between the reality and fiction, study and reconciliation of actions, relations and bonds of my past and a general perseverance for technical and conceptual progress in my medium.» Follow him on Instagram.
