Dwam Ipomée is a multidisciplinary artist who lives in Nantes, France. While the current artistic trend puts more emphasis on femininity and women, Dwam Ipomée explores masculinity, or rather masculinities, in particular in her series of portraits called “Blossom Boys”. These beautifully designed photos depict men in postures or situations that are not associated with the generally known masculinity. Bathed in flowers, softly crying or wearing make-up, these portrayed men express a sensuality and a beauty through unusual visual codes, colours or refined framing, which revisit the beauty of men.
