Montreal-based photographer Drowster offers us a foggy and stunning series with «A Morning in Khiew Kan». These photos recount the precious moment he spent with the Khiew Kan tribe, isolated at the top of a mountain in the Laos jungle. «Parents go early every morning to work in the fields leaving the whole village to children, he says. Despite the cultural barrier and the language, we laughed and shared around a dinner.»

He reveals he had not planned to take any pictures that day, but the unique atmosphere of the village and these young children charisma made him immortalize what remains today one of his most beautiful travel experiences. «My portrait of the brothers and sisters at their front door is still one of my favourite photographs, even after being to 40 different countries so far.» A moving series to gently contemplate.
