English publishing house Hoxton Mini Press has recently reunited in a book previously unseen photographs from the 60s, 70s and 80s taken by the late photographer David Granick. Through this series, we discover the vanished East End area of London in both warm and unusual shades of colours of the Kodachrome films. Genuine historical testimony, these evocative photos transport us back to a London era now over, although some buildings still survive. The book accompanies an exhibition presented at Tower Hamlets Local History Library & Archives until May 2018.
