Denis Cherim’s photo series “Coincidence Project”, which started 5 years ago, is regularly updated with new images. By playing with the shadows, textures or shapes of urban space and juxtaposing them in a clever way, he highlights the hidden beauty of cities. A delicate poetry that sometimes hides itself in details, but which requires to pay attention and to learn how to marvel at lovely coincidences. The photographer is currently in Taiwan, doing an artistic residency in the Pier-2 Art Center in order to develop the Kaohsiung Coincidence Project.
