Marinos Tsagkarakis is a Greek photographer who grew up in Crete, then settled down in Thessaloniki. His series “Paradise Inn” looks like a parody of what is supposed to be the paradise ; the sea, the beach, the seaside bars and the swimming pools. The artist makes these places dark, empty, almost scary and sad, emptied of their occupants.
