Artist and environmentalist Mark Dion built a library for birds shaped like a cage. Installed at the Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, the Library for the Birds of New York features perches, 22 nests and birds tables in the middle of stacked books, with vintage covers. A oak tree is here as a central support for all these books and as a temporary habitat for all these birds of different species.
