Photographer Tariq Zaidi traveled in the Gobi desert in Mongolia to immortalize a tradition practiced by a handful of Kyrgyz, inhabitants of Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhs : the eagle hunting. This type of hunt is a tradition that is observed for 4000 years in Asia but that is disappearing. There is approximately 70 eagle hunters in the world. They hunt with horses to follow the birds of prey.
