At 200 km northwest of the city of Agadez, in northern Niger, there is the village Teguidda-n-Tessoumt which have a mosaic-like earth with hundreds of salt ponds filled with beautiful colored waters. This phenomenon is created by the deposition of clay from many years of salt extraction in the area.
