« This photographic gallery spans the local archictecture, the inhabitants and the culture we lived in for 120 hours », says Tiago Marques et Tania De Pascalis. The duo of photographers specialized in discovering new villages offers here a unique series called « Chefchaouene ». Known in the world as the Blue Pearl, the images immerge us into this mountain town located in Morocco. « The village offers you a full immersion into blue tones. This color characterizes all the cityscape and the natural blue pigment owes its origins to this village ».

« To understand how to capture their essence, we spent a lot of time there and tried through different approaches and methods. Hiding our curiosity and being as focued as we could. The city also has a vertical drop of more than 80 floors we went through every single day to check every angle of the city. The last two days, we just worked into selected spots, taking photographs from surinse to sunset, collecting daily life situations. We took necessary time to reach our photographic goals and to complete this amazing journey ».
