Through her camera, Laure-Hélène Thibaud manages to convey the feeling of well-being and freedom that one can feel on and underwater. Always on the move, wearing her flippers and her waterproof wetsuit, she captures the light, the colors, and the shapes offered by the aquatic environment. Her inspiration comes from “travel, freedom, my personal life and adventure…and the human beings in the middle of it all“. With a master’s degree in clinical psychology, the second one in mental preparation and coaching, and a school to become a JRI, the artist has managed to take the time to travel and to be nourished by the souls and landscapes she has crossed. It is after a documentary made for France 5 in Sumatra, Indonesia, that she decided to be independent and to launch herself in photography to combine her passion for travel, surfing, and freedom.  Today, as the head of a coaching company, her art, which she practices in parallel, is gradually finding its rightful place. When it was her main activity, her work was exhibited several times and published in several surfing media.
