The explorer, underwater photographer and marine biologist Alexander Semenov takes us on a journey into the magical and fascinating world of the deep sea. An “entirely different universe, nothing like the life we have on land,” he explains, before drawing a parallel between this aquatic life and extraterrestrial life in the literal sense of the term. “While people dream about alien life forms from other planets, there is another universe right here, closer than anyone expects”. Through his photographic work, he offers us to see and discover this universe that we don’t have the opportunity to meet every day.
