The Slovak artist takes her bathers out of the pool and photographs her models in nature for the very first time.

«Lost In The Valley» aesthetically addresses harmony between humans and space. Humans exist as an individual, but they are also part of something larger than themselves. Moreover, the vibrant colours used by the photographer expresses a feeling of joy and resilience with this statement.

She explains: «People in the series are lost in the valley but are not frustrated about this situation. They are now thinking about their lives and their authenticity, or just they are playing a few games with their shadows. Plays of lights, which vary in each capture, offer a fairly dynamic view of me, offering in the same series a moment of meditation and inner search. Humans have freedom and time for themselves, which is so important for this time in this world.» Follow Maria Svarbova’s projects on Instagram.
