The 15th edition of the Photo festival of La Gacilly started the 2nd of June. This year, the Earth is celebrated through pictures of 29 photographers. As every year, the biggest outdoor photo festival in France invites us to wander in the narrow streets of the village of La Gacilly, to appreciate the selected pictures. Some prints are up to 70m2!

Every year, two main themes are approached : one is about geography (a country or a continent) the other one is about environment. The festival is involved in sustainable development, trying to alert the public about the danger of globalization : people must take care of what links them to Earth, if they want to keep living in harmony with nature.

The festival became internationally famous, thanks to the exhibitions of amazing photographers such as Ansel Adams, Raymond Depardon, Robert Doisneau and Yann Arthus-Bertrand. Moreover, the contest for new talented photographers, organized with FISHEYE magazine, will allow the futures Henri Cartier-Bresson to prove their talent and exhibit in their own gallery until the 30th of September.
