The Land Between Us is a project of two photographers Ning Kai and Sabrina Scarpa (who write on the blog The United Journey). One Chinese, the other Dutch, their paths crossed in 2013 when their names were beginning to get known in their respective countries. Through this project, they delve into the unknown corners of the wild natural world, searching for poetic moments of revelation, harmony and terrestrial paradise. They confess to us : “We wish to surround ourselves by places and people that bring out the core of humanity, brings us back to our natural roots, to aim for a state of being in which the boundary between our cultures and backgrounds seems to blur”.
