For 20 years, artist Vladimir Kanevsky has been building sculptures of bouquets and floral compositions that look like real ones. All in porcelain, these artworks give a realistic and striking illusion of peonies, hyacinths and roses. To build them, he shapes first the copper, then he uses casting techniques for the petals, to mimic well the textures and folds of each flowers. To finish, he paints them by hand and places them in vases and jars.
