Anne-Laure Etienne, whose we already have talked about for her underwater portraits, comes back with the series Fleeting Glimpse in which she explores this time the technique of double exposure with an analog camera. She explains to us that this series of portraits, linked to nature, shows the idea that cosmos lives continually in regenerescence and that vegetation is the symbol of development. Each captured face is a “revelation, incomplete and ephemeral” she considers as a “silent language”. It’s the symbol of mystery, of a door to the invisible.
