Venice Beach is known for its community of skaters offering a daily show to the tourists on a magical spot. In Venice, German photographer Maximilian Baier decided to focus on basketball players this time. The Hamburg-born artist created « VENICEBALL », a series featuring California basketball players. A monochrome series mixing portraits and compositions with particular attention paid to lights and emotions … the result is impressive.
