Photographer, Tim Tadder, was tasked with the responsibility of capturing scenes at this year’s Senior Olympics for Humana. He decided to portray the senior athletes in an unusual light.
“I try to portray subjects in a way in which I feel to me represents their power and strength, whether it’s an 89-year-old marathon runner or is a 22-year-old NFL MVP I don’t approach them any different,” explains the artist.
Over the course of two days, Tadder heard stories of inspiration about each subject’s passion for what they do — and it left him with a yearning to better himself, too. “[I am] motivated to improve my own strength and fitness level,” he said about the project after capturing the portraits on display.
