Photographer, Tim Tadder, was tasked with the responsibility of capturing scenes at this year’s Senior Olympics for Humana. He decided to portray the senior athletes in an unusual light.

I try to portray subjects in a way in which I feel to me represents their power and strength, whether it’s an 89-year-old marathon runner or is a 22-year-old NFL MVP I don’t approach them any different,” explains the artist.

Over the course of two days, Tadder heard stories of inspiration about each subject’s passion for what they do — and it left him with a yearning to better himself, too. “[I am] motivated to improve my own strength and fitness level,” he said about the project after capturing the portraits on display.
