In his last series « Lost in transition », Paul Mougeot portrays La Havana, a city that is now in full transformation and in a new phase of opening to the rest of the world. In collaboration with Leica, with his M10, the photographer travels to Cuba in order to explore the suburban areas of the capital. The series show us Cuba under an incredibly photogenic angle : the bright colored streets, where he can meet smiling and nostalgic characters, some vintage objects, are a testimony of an existing tension between the past and the present, facing a more and more opened to world culture.
