This year, the Paris “Salon de la Photo” (Photography Fair) highlighted the work of photographer Franz Christian Gundlach with the exhibition Itinerary.
His historical cliches revamped the incredible work of an iconic artist of the 50ies.
Gundlach, indeed, was one of the first to show a new vision of woman fashion, emancipated, undertaken and deeply experimental, following the intellectual and artistic movement of the 60ies. He was particularly inspired by Christian Dior’s New Look, a relieved way of conceiving feminity and clothing after the rigorous attitude of the after war period. But most of all, Gundlach immortalize the excitement and glamour of Paris in a glorious time.
