Each year the “Sony World Photography“, a competition open to photographers from all walks of life, celebrates its eleventh edition this year. Several categories are represented, including “architecture”, “landscape”, or “sport”. A special award is given at each edition to the most outstanding photographer. This year it was Alys Tomlinson for his series “Ex-Voto”. Winning photographers are then invited in London to receive their awards during the annual ceremony. They are subsequently exposed to the “Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition” which takes place during the spring in London.
