Benoît Paillé is a globe-trotting photographer who chose travel as a source of inspiration. For a few years now, he has been exploring the industrial zones, the countryside and the outskirts of the cities in his van, a real nomadic house equipped with solar panels, which gives him total freedom of movement. Through his encounters and adventures, he immortalizes spontaneous moments of life depicting his surroundings or perfect strangers. In this series entitled “Mexico Surreal”, he questions the relationships that human beings have with their environment and his photographic diary turns into a surrealist experience celebrating the beauty of landscapes without any other artifice than the play of light that underlines the aura of mystery impregnating his photos.
