Thus, those photographs document the everyday routine of the city’s inhabitants, through the rear window of a car. A point of view that deliberately moves away from the clichés too often conveyed by cinema or TV series, which prefer to highlight Miami’s sulphurous past as a former hub of drug trafficking, or which seek to sell tourists the idealised image of rich retirees in their golf carts.
