Chicago based photographer Serdar Ozturk AKA Trashhand is striving to explore and showcase the world’s most forgotten and remote locations through his own perspective. His work gathers photographs taken in dilapidated churches, basketball courts, theaters or abandoned buildings. For the artist it’s all about exploration, “waking up early, driving to the middle of nowhere or some dangerous neighborhoods before the sun is even out, mapping out security so you can avoid them and the strategic moves you need to make to get where you need to go”.
