French phtographer Elliott Verdier spent four months in Kyrgyzstan , photographying in his stunning series “A Shaded Path” the generational transition taking place in this country still unknown by the occident. A very touching and profound series. Verdier brings to light a nostalgic generation, remembering the USSR, as well as a dynamic and future-focused youth. The series, between portraits and landscapes, is peaceful and touching, full of a sweet nostalgia, and hope.
