London-based photographer John MacLean travelled the world to photograph the hometowns of his heroes. In his book entitled Hometowns, he takes us on a journey on the steps of Takashi Homma, Robert Frank, Robert Rauschenberg and many more. The photographer went to 25 cities on several continents to discover the environments in which those who inspired him grew up. A beautiful reflection on the influence of childhood in the work of artists.
