As part of the Photofairs in San Francisco, which will take place from January 27 to the 29th, the French photographer Eric Pillot will display some of his works including the In Situ project. This one gathers shots of animals in portrait format, taken in zoos with fake decors representing their mother countries in the background. Intimate pictures of some endangered species that appear full of melancholy, with a staging similar to paintings. In other words, his work is a way to convey the human fascination for animals and to point out their conditions of living, with an overview available below.
