Vincent Pflieger started to shoot without thinking to become a photographer. He simply wanted to catch some interesting daily details with his smartphone. Indeed, he is a child of photography democratization. After having found a film camera at his parents house, he started to take pictures in the city, first in Paris, then everywhere, but always in the streets. The street is quite an obsession for him, passionated by the work of some famous war and streets photographers, such as Robert Capa.

Vincent Pflieger did journalism studies so photography quickly became his way of demonstrating and informing. His series about the anti-trump protests was particularly forceful and historically interesting. Striking, subversive but also deeply romantic, Vincent Pflieger has this reporter gift of observing details in an obsessively accurate way until the perfect moment comes. Here, we present a series taken in the streets of New York.
