Through the Corner Shop Heroes project, photographer Francesco Pergolesi pays tribute to the everyday heroes. The corner shop heroes : these merchants, upholsterers, florists and cabinetmakers, who masterfully perpetuate quality, savoir-faire and tradition. Captured around the cities of Rome, Milan, Spoleto, and in the town of Perugia, where Pergolesi grew, the photographs shows with great authenticity workers who, at the hand of their local, work until late at night to offer the best products.
