Photographer AJ Messier took advantage of a one month trip to Hawaii to catch pictures of surfers while they were sliding. These black and white shots reveal the force of nature by focusing on the power of the rollers formed by the waves. The contrast between the shade of the water and the one of the foam immortalized by the Canadian artist ends in a splendid and captivating rendering. The protagonists appear at the same time in full control and terribly vulnerable faced with these liquid mountains.
