Liisa Luts is an Estonian photographer who wanted her marriage to be unconventional and very simple with her fiance. Without glitters, fanfare and strass, the wedding happened according to the wishes of the couple : without the traditional stress of the ceremony, without the eternal decisions to make on the cake, the paper’s invitations and the choice of photographer. It’s for this latest choice that she chose to be her own wedding photographer. She gives intimate pictures, less glossy as the ones we often see, from her bride’s point of view : from the “yes” to the preparations, through the family diner and the honeymoon.
