Through his series Removed, New-York photographer Eric Pickersgill imagined a world without smartphones and technology. To denounce the cannibalism of mobile phones on our social lives, he captured black and white portraits on which we can see people holding invisible tablets and phones that have been removed from the picture. Their faces stay fix and their empty looks are hypnotized by a screen that doesn’t exist. An interesting reflection on our era.
