Claire Kelly is an artist based in Rhode Island specialized in the art of glass. In her last series of sculptures she denounces climate change with tiny glass animals standing in a precarious balance on boats, balloons, and other unstable surfaces to underline the fragility of our eco-system. Working with colored strips of glass called cane, the process and materials affect the size of the final pieces. This project launched in 2014 as a simple hobby mix artisanal work and political issues showing that anyone can act at his own level.
