When dozens of whales arrived in the small town of Sunnyside, Canada, in July 2020 the photographer Darren Hatt takes out his drone to take pictures of the sky. “At this time of year, it’s common to see them breaking water as they hunt for fish. It’s less common to see so many of them coming so close to the city. They stayed in town for three days before they left. It was the perfect opportunity to photograph these magnificent giants with my drone. Such an incredible experience,” he says, amazed.
