Photographer Birgit Schlosser focuses mainly on architecture and landscapes. Her artistic approach is characterized by a clean, minimalist visual language. As landscape photographer she’s looking for vastness, stillness, the sublime – and sometimes also a touch of surrealism, as we can see in « The Void of Lanzarote ». In this series, the artist delivers his vision of the Spanish island, with its richness, its surrealist landscapes and its quietness.

«  It is the sublimity of silence,
the beauty of the void,
the mystery of the abandoned,
that remains. »
