Many times, the year’s first snowfall changes a landscape drastically and let’s you view the same scene from a completely new perspective.
Forest Eyes tries to create that feeling of a scene before the storm in his project entitled “Before the White”, capturing the autumn of the French Alps in Belledonne just a few hours before the famous mountain range sees its first snow of the year.
After a few hours of hiking to a higher vantage point, the viewer can imagine the sugar-coated fairytale land which is transformed by its white blanket of snow just a matter of a couple hours later.
