The group of architects QUATRE CAPS realized a series of photographs entitled “Not Longer Life », about the contemporary and abusive use of plastic. The artists came up with the idea of reinterpreting famous still-life paintings by Monet or Caravaggio by adding the plastic packaging used today, in order to raise the awareness of as many people as possible about the amount of plastic wasted to pack fruits, vegetables or bread. Because of the frightening production and unbelievable duration of biodegradation of plastic materials, they highlight the uselessness of packaging that covers our food, calling for a new method of consumption, aware of the risks to the planet if habits do not change quickly.
