Photography enthusiast Roger Cicala, founder of the American photographic equipment company LensRental, has designed a new fisheye lens so wide that it allows the photographer to capture images at 270 degrees, exceeding the Nikon model designed in the 1970s, which already captured at 220 degrees. The only problem is that this type of optic remains in the prototype state, or is available in very few copies and at very high prices. Nevertheless, the technical prowess of its manufacture already remains in itself a fascinating process, since it is a question here of manufacturing an objective capable of seeing, very concretely, behind itself.
