Jonathan Nimerfroh is an award-winning surf and lifestyle photographer based in Nantucket. An island about thirty miles off the coast of Massachusetts. When his « little island gets too small », Jonathan travels the world: « The only condition is a chance to surf » he says. In this series, he went to Tofino, Vancouver Island, and captured the essence of what he particularly liked there: surfing (pictured: Sepp Bruhwiler, professional surfer), but also the fact that for him, « It is the place where the forest meets the ocean». Thus, between two waves and beautiful landscapes, the photographer could admire and photograph a bear, walking along the beach, with his lunch freshly caught between its teeth.
