Photographer Derek Sturman dreamed about photographying the Milky Way since 2016, the year he firstly went to the Yosemite Park. Indeed, he discovered that one of the landscape he taken under a daylight, was perfectly aligned with our galaxy in May and early June.

Photographer knew that, according to his experience in 2016 and after photographying our galaxy a thousand times, that to obtain a perfect nightscape he would need at least 5 vertical image of 15mm. Thanks to the Photo Phill app he planified a 9 days trip to Yosemite Park following the alignement of the Milky Way. After several days and hours of shooting, the perfect panoramic has been taken at the Glacier Point. The result is dazzling : a true masterpiece of nightscape photography.
