« When I was a teenager, I spent all my free time exploring surrounding forests and mountains. I was always intrigued by elements like mists, sunsets and thunderstorms. I quickly wanted to take pictures of scenes that I was seeing, that’s how I started photography », says Florent Courty. This young autodidact photographer says that taking pictures is for him, « an essential passion ». Born in Auvergne, France, he wanted to go to Chartreuse mountain range in the Alps, in between autumn and winter, « to be there for the period of sea clouds ». With this series called « French alps above the clouds » the young artist offers a beautiful view on these luxurious and marvelous natural landscapes.

« Nature inspires me. I have a lot of interest in everything related to trees, plants and gardens through permaculture. There are many artists who also inspire me especially in photography but also in the art of bonsaï ».
