Adam Wilkoszarski is a Polish documentary/landscape photographer. In his work, he explores the usually filled places and their change when they are empty. He tries to find places where the boundaries between the public and private spheres are unclear and looks for signs of disappearing or crossing those borders. About his series After Season, he explains « After Season focuses on the backstage of this structure, which produces places suspended in a time. The structured free time industry stops at the end of vacations, emptying. ». Becoming useless then, these locations will find their brightness and their life when the tourists are reappropriating them. Theater of their happiness and future memories, these places are the prey of this continual cycle. In his photographic series, Adam offers suspended moments, as timeless, and manages to draw from its different places a melancholy and touching beauty.
