Jade Bailleul is a photographer from Le Havre in Normandy, now based in Nantes. Having started photography at the age of 14, she first became interested in self-portraiture. She visited an establishment with a photographic formation: « It was simply a revelation ». Then, she decides to register there. The art of photography represents for her something vital, a passion, a reason to live.

Jade has worked for a long time on magnificent stagings in order to bring out a story. Today, the artist is devoting more and more to portraits and natural landscapes captured with a film camera, in order to highlight the sensitivity and emotion out of her shots. Very flowery and colorful, her retro-inspired clichés are closely linked to the imaginary of a past era of which we remain nostalgic.
