Alis Bouyer is a 28-year-old photographer from Nantes who decided to start photography in 2011. At the age of three, she aimed, shot and experimented with a “low-cost” film camera offered to her. Her mother had a “treasure box”: An old shoebox filled with images of great photographers like Edouard Boubat, René Maltête or the iconic Man Ray: This is the opportunity for the little photographer to make beautiful and inspiring discoveries.
Today, Alis feels a constant need to create and materialize the images born in her mind. Despite the eternal dissatisfaction she feels, the photographer delivers us striking and offbeat shots, in perfect colors, whose characters seems to come alive. In the middle of landscapes selected by their beauty, the artist puts on clichés taken on the moment, for the greatest eyes pleasure.
